OnionCat was founded in Turin in 2026 on a simple idea: IT should work, and the people who use it should understand what is going on and what it costs.
Our team is made up of qualified professionals with decades of experience in networks, servers, systems and security, gained in companies and projects of every size. We work on-site in Piedmont, Liguria and Lombardy, and remotely anywhere.
The name? Good IT is built in layers, like an onion: network, systems, data, security. And like a cat, it is curious, precise and always lands on its feet.

FAQ
The questions we're asked most
How much does a visit cost?
€60 per hour on-site, with a 1-hour minimum, and €50 per hour remotely, with a 30-minute minimum. Beyond the minimum, time is counted in 30-minute blocks. For on-site visits outside the provinces of Turin and Savona, a fixed travel fee applies. For projects and installations we prepare a free quote.
How does remote support work?
We ask you to start a simple remote support program: you give us access, you see everything we do, and you can end the session whenever you like.
Where do you work in person?
Throughout Piedmont, Liguria and Lombardy. Remotely, we can help you wherever you are, including abroad and in English.
How quickly can you come?
We usually schedule a visit within a few working days. For emergencies we try to step in as soon as possible, with a possible surcharge that we always tell you about in advance.
Do you also work for private customers?
Of course. We look after homes and families with the same care we give businesses.
Do I have to buy the hardware from you?
No. We help you choose what to buy and where to get the best deal; then you go ahead yourself, with no mark-ups or ties.
What does a maintenance plan include?
Regular checks, updates, backup checks, a number of included support hours and guaranteed response times. The contents are adapted to your situation. The minimum term is 6 months.
Do you issue invoices?
Yes, always. We operate under the Italian flat-rate scheme, so VAT is not charged.
